Comfortable in our own skin.

Recently, I've dug deeper into my newest obsession, Human Design. If you've been on this weekly journey with me for a while now, you've witnessed the moments I reference moon cycles and the impact of planets, retrogrades, etc. Human Design digs deeper than just analyzing astrology, it incorporates the I Ching, chakras, and concepts within quantum physics into a system that maps out who we are as individuals and how we are meant to move through this world. I love geeking out on this kind of stuff. Most recently I've been focused on my North Node: what I am here to learn in this lifetime. For my unique design, it comes down to showing up authentically. Not polished. Not perfect. Just real, quirks included. What has stayed with me most is this: my north node isn't teaching me something new. It's confirming something I have spent the last 8 years intuitively working to master, long before I had a name for it. On Saturday the 4th, I popped in on a few different friends' celebrations, varied groups, different conversations, different energy, one event all adults, the other full of kids. What stayed consistent was me. I wasn't anxious about who would be there or what anyone might think. We were all happy to be together. I was excited to catch up with people I'd seen days ago and people I hadn't seen in six months, and it didn't matter which. After a busy day of socializing, I reflected on how much I enjoyed my holiday. That feeling came in large part from replaying interactions where I was being authentically me. It's taken me almost a decade to reach this level of comfort in my own skin. The fact that it is now happening unconsciously made it that much sweeter. That's the part that lands the deepest for me. Human Design didn't hand me this lesson. It validated work I was already doing, work I've been building into my coaching practice long before I had the language for it. It's the entire basis of my women's cohort starting July 19th, Honest Hours. Honest Hours is five women, meeting on Sundays for six weeks, not to watch a course or download a framework, but to sit in real weekly conversation. I am creating a space to show you that it is safe to show up just as you are, with what you're actually building and what's actually hard about it, and letting that honesty be the thing that moves you forward. Can you feel the difference between the moments you are performing versus being uniquely yourself?
