1. What is a Clarity Call?

A Clarity Call is a complimentary call, typically 15 to 30 minutes, that gives us an opportunity to get to know each other. You're free to share where you are or ask me questions about my coaching process. Finding the right coach is crucial for your success, and this call is also an opportunity to determine whether coaching is the right support to achieve your goals. There's no pressure and no obligation, just an opportunity to get a better picture of what your needs are.

2. Who is my coaching for?

Driven, creative women who are ready to hear themselves more clearly. As your coach, I'm a neutral, caring partner who holds a safe space for you to be heard. I reflect back what you share in a way that lets you access the best answer to your own dilemmas. When you uncover your own answers, lasting change follows through your actions.

3. How do coaching sessions work?

Sessions are held virtually or in person in Richmond, Virginia, and typically last 60 minutes. We begin each session by setting an agreement. What feels like conversation is strategically working toward something bigger. My process is structured beneath the surface. In our work together you experience the shift you need to break old habits, and the awareness to stay in this new version of you long after our last session.

4. What is Honest Hours?

Honest Hours is Annie's six-week group coaching cohort for driven, creative women. Through weekly online sessions, you'll receive guidance, accountability, and the support of a small community working toward meaningful growth.

Yes. I coach virtually with clients anywhere, and in person in Richmond, Virginia.

If you missed the free quiz, you can take it here. Depending on where you fall on the Notice, Name, Choose, Become spectrum, I have developed entry points to fit your needs. The Stress Reset is asynchronous learning and journaling. Honest Hours is an opportunity to share with a group. One-on-one coaching is best for someone who is closer to Becoming and wants a more dedicated space for their continued growth.

7. What is the Stress Reset?

The Stress Reset is where most of my clients start. Before you can change a pattern, your nervous system needs to come out of overdrive. It's a focused reset for women who are running on empty and don't realize what it's costing them. Get The Stress Reset here.

8. How long do we work together?

Accepted Answer

My initial work with most clients is a 6 month program in which we meet every two weeks. Creating lasting change takes time and practice. It's a cycle of gaining clarity, practicing naming, having awareness in order to choose the change you desire, and consciously practicing the new behavior.

9. Is everything we talk about confidential?

Our sessions are confidential. The exception is if I believe you are at risk of harming yourself or someone else, or if the law requires disclosure. In those situations, safety comes first.

10. What does it mean to work with a certified coach?

Accepted Answer

Anyone can call themselves a coach. Our industry is not heavily regulated. Whether you feel I am the right coach for you or you would like a referral to someone else, I highly encourage you to work with an ICF certified coach. This does not mean non certified coaches are not good. I would define them more as consultants or mentors.

11. What does being ICF certified mean?

ICF is the International Coaching Federation, the leading global body for professional coaching standards. As an ICF Certified Coach, I'm committed to upholding the standards and ethics of my profession. A coach doesn't advise or counsel. We are not therapists. My main focus is the enhancement of your positive outlook, learning, and ongoing success.
